Coils make a difference too. The lower the car, the further inside the top of the wheel goes

OK, here we go. This is on the stock suspension.

I tried to get the cameral angle so that I was perfectly aligned (square) to the fender. I think I got the rear but might have been a little off on the front.

Thanks. This makes me feel better.
Wheel-it-fit says you are 9mm away from 100% flush, 7mm with my +40 on a 1 inch drop.

Looking good!!

I watched the video shared a while back, so it looks like 18x8.5 ET 40 with 255/35 will work? 245/35 is easier, but there is literally one 200TW tire in that size vs ALL the 200 TW tires in 255/35.

I was potentially going to wait for a '23 but I'm getting impatient with not having a car. And I'm seeing some fly-and-drive opportunities at or very near MSRP.

Based on jvincent's pictures, I'd say 255/35/18 would probably be a meaty tire. 245/35/18 looks perfect to me. Maybe someone can post pics of 255s on a 8.5 rim?

Yeah, a 9" or 9.5" would be preferable (although 8.5" is still listed in the acceptable range). It doesn't sound like even with the 8.5 ET 40 there is much room inboard, even with coilovers to make a higher ET 9" work.

I don't really like the idea of taking a grinder to the rear fender on a brand new $31k car.

Looks amazing! Those are the wheels I've decided on whenever I make the change but undecided on tire size though. I was thinking 225/45/17 but yours looks great.

Nice!

225-45 is functionally the correct choice on a 17x8 wheel.

Thanks I actually called them this morning to see if it was available but they said it had been reserved. Maybe that person cancelled? I'm not sure.

Wish there was a doc of some sort for confirmed fitment for stock and aftermarket coils. Anyone know confirmed fitments for 17x9?

Adding my car to share fitment

BC Racing BR Coils, have a finger gap all around (1.5ish in drop i think)

Gram Lights 57dr 17x9 +38 on 245/40/17 indy500s

-1.5 degrees of camber all 4 corners, no rubbing anywhere that i can find or hear. rear is pretty flush, front could take maybe a 3-5mm spacer to get completely flush with fender.
