I tackled some back roads over the weekend. Found myself on some road that kept narrowing down then turn into someone's private property. Tried to turn around. Backed into some brush. Left a scratch or 2 on the bumper.

Insurance is probably gonna total it.

@FX86 - FYI ...... in Tennessee speak, "brush" is a bunch of "bushes growing in the wild". Yep, on a cold, fall morning ...... if you kick a brush pile ..... there is a good chance a rabbit will run out....... 20 gauge shot gun ...... goes boom .....rabbit stew coming up .....

Well, mazeroni, it has been my experience in Tennessee, that there would have been a good chance that if you had gone on down the lane into the barnyard ..... YOU might have been totaled...........

Didn't you see the movie .....

That may or may not have been why I got so careless that I totaled my car. I could feel hot breath on my neck and the sounds of squeals comin from that thar barn

Took my car for a drive in the hills yesterday, stopped at Joes in Boulder Creek and had a pint, went home and had a couple gin and tonics watching the ball game, then crashed.

Almost...

Driving today and stopped for pedestrians crossing the street... Heard the screech of tires locking up behind me, looked in my rear view mirror and saw the SUV looming large as it swerved to the side and hit the curb.

I did not crash.

As I drove off the SUV driver was still on their phone!
