I don't think the driver of the SUV had malicious intent in his mind when he fled. He was trying to protect his wife and child, which is priority #1 for any father/husband.

Those 'bikers' were clearly the more guilty party IMO, and it's disappointing because it puts a stereotype on people who ride and follow the rules.

Overall a very sad situation, the only positive is that nobody lost their life. This could have gone much worse.

GTA In Real Life? - Range Rover is Attacked By 100+ Bikers

Saw on the local news earlier... This is not the first video of this same group assaulting cars. The news showed another older video of them riding through town, first part of the group had a green light, then the light changed, but the rest of the pack decided to proceed through the red light funeral procession style... A car who had a green cross light started to creep thru to let them know "hey. U. Ur being a ****. Stop it" and 3/4 bikes turned and stopped and started smashing the cars windows.

Edit: hollywood stuntz is the groups name

Range rover shouldn't have hit him in the first place, doesn't even look like he tried to slow down. If you see brake lights your supposed to prepare slow down or stop. What he did after he hit the guy was understandable to protect his family, but him being a bad driver got him in the situation in the first place.

They have another veiw of the incedent, and in neither can you see a brake light, chances are the guy had it in the lowest gear possible, for maximum noise, and checked up, there is a lot of engine braking on these bikes, when I went through the Ty Howard racing school they do a lot of sessions with no braking, just to show how much engine braking and tire scrub can slow you down.. NOT giving that guy an excuse to hit no one.. But I guess it happens a lot in big cities, while I've never been tapped or tapped anyone, I know a lot for here in Vegas or in LA that have bumper marks, my girls dad was hit the other day.. Tons of accedent happen all the time, and I. This case not only did the guy have someone in front of him acting like a jack ass, he had multiple distraction surrounding him, and could've easily been checking a mirror when that guy checked up

As far as the gun, I carry, legally, and in the end when the guy started smashing the window, I think to myself would I have pulled.. I think at that time I have the right circumstances that point in the direction of a justified "shooting" my only thought, if these jack asses don't care enough about the law to ride responsibly, cover up tags and stuff, then how many would be carrying also and at the time the guy opened fire, the other members open fire also and then the wife and child are victims then.. That's a tough call.. I say pull and shoot, but man if other opened fire.. Bad situation all around

Don't forget tho, that Range is like 5000lbs so it takes forever to slow down, especially when the driver is probably distracted by the other 45 bikers to his left and right.

Also factor in the weight of the fuel, driver and passengers and luggage. Likely we are looking at somewhere shy of 3 tons.

It don't stop easy.

I wonder what people are saying on the biker forums?

Probably the same things as here: If they had a gun, they would've shot into the car because more guns somehow makes things better.

This. GTA saves lives. If everyone was at home playing, none of this would have happened.

I think you'd be surprised at how well that RR can stop. Not giving an excuse, but it's not a Chevy Tahoe or anything, it's pretty decent as far as stats go..

Also, even "bikers" don't support what these dumbasses do.. Well not all of them, some of the douches did, but gixxer.com is way more sport oriented and the ATGATT type... GSXR.com is a different story, they probably all support the trash
