I lost over 25 lbs in less than an hour...

And I didn't even work up a sweat... lol Had to slightly modify the positive terminal, or it would have taken abt 15 mins.

I just kept the stock tray & OEM tie-down for now. Saved 25.5 lbs.

These lithium batts are serious. I had this in my GT-R, so plenty of cranking power for the FR-S.

No charging system changes? Just a "direct" bolt in?? If you have to charge it, is there a different charger? Curious.

I also everyone above lives in warm climate... How bout cold climate?

Good Modification for the money compare to a normal battery but it's expensive when your OEM battery is brand new, maybe a good choice when you need to replace the OEM battery when she's dead.

You can lose more, maybe up to 50lbs with this model : http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc680series.htm

150$ for the PCM680

50 lbs? The stock batt is just under 30 lbs.

Here's the weight.

Also, these batts LAST...

I have a Shorai Lithium battery that I used this year in my Miata for autocrossing that I'm thinking about trying in my BRZ next year. Only weighs 24 oz and cost less than $150
