From Japanese 物の哀れ (mono no aware)

Mono no aware (物の哀れ), literally "the pathos of things", and also translated as "an empathy toward things", or "a sensitivity to ephemera", is a Japanese term for the awareness of impermanence (無常, mujō), or transience of things, and both a transient gentle sadness (or wistfulness) at their passing as well as a longer, deeper gentle sadness about this state being the reality of life. "Mono-no aware: the ephemeral nature of beauty – the quietly elated, bittersweet feeling of having been witness to the dazzling circus of life – knowing that none of it can last. It’s basically about being both saddened and appreciative of transience – and also about the relationship between life and death. In Japan, there are four very distinct seasons, and you really become aware of life and mortality and transience. You become aware of how significant those moments are.

Yeah, now that you say that. I could imagine someone asking for a forged wheel and getting it back super brittle. Then the manufacturer saying "you didn't say you wanted it normalized and heat treated too."

Production started complaining about a bunch of poor fitting brackets. Our drawing locates the bracket, but it doesn't say to weld it at 90 degrees from the flange on the end. So they are all over the place

And I got the metallurgical analysis back on the resistor wire from my oven. The manufacturer swears N7 is the correct grade. The new element wire was N7. The old one that lasted 2 years and still worked, N8

Yeah it doesn't, cuz Forge wheels aren't cheap at all... But again, just figuring out all the options. Buying or not is all up in the air.

I bought this one in particular because of the way it mounts. It has mounting pads that mount to the trunk lid and the uprights bolt to the mounting pads. That way I can remove it for street driving and not look like a total douche all of the time. Just some of the time

Cuz no one is driving, so they're trying to get much. Result stock is going down, trying to do much as they can to get it going... but prob won't happen.
