Im pretty sure its something that you paid for when you bought the car. Its a dealer add on.

That's paint protection right? May as well, even though I'm sure the Toyota paint will hold up for a long time (as opposed to, say, GM paint )

both ''water based" wouldn't count on it! "softer" paint! not as durable as "chemical" based paint. (e.p.a.) regulations changed this some years ago!
"good" coat of wax applied from time to time,is really all that's required, that,
and regular washing...just sayin'

I also got the "paint protection plan" and got it done -which was an add on
Is it same as getting opti coated or something similar?

FYI Paint on the twins are not from Toyota...they are Subaru paint, which reading from several members' post on this forums seems to be thin and not as durable as other factory paint jobs.

Biggest dealer scam! Get a good paint sealant and do it yourself in an hour and costs less than $20.

How much was it? I wasn't even offered it. Even tho I saw many packages sitting behind the finance lady.

Like 500+ for it.....

Anyone know if I can cancel it still? Have not taken my FRS to the dealer and get it done yet.. Now thinking about it seems like not worth it and I don't have time to go get it done when I can do it myself
