You guys are hilarious. That's just part of the site's theme template. They commented it out so it doesn't display the field therefore it doesn't display the wrong price. It's clearly not the pricing. Even mpg is off. When the actual price is announced, they will update the pricing and mpg on the backend and remove the comments. Let's just say their web developer took the easy route.

I also don't think it's going to be $25.8k.. That seems too high to me.

I bet the developer of those pages built his/her first page in that format for the Scion Xd a year or two ago. The $15.8 and 16.8 were probably the prices for that car at the time. When he was done designing that first page, he probably used it as a template for all the other pages.. he'd copy it over to that new page and then only have to change the wording and photo.

^ YEP.. Found it.. 2011 MSRP for scion Xd was $15840 for manual and $16640 for auto trans.. exactly the prices on the first post. http://holmanscion.com/PurePrice.aspx Also found those exact numbers on Kelley Blue Book and True car for their 2011 Scion Xd pages.
So yeah.. count on these prices simply being from a template.. they will be corrected in the future.. let's hope the real number starts with a 22 or 23...
Congrats, nice catch! Here's 40,000 internet pointz...

+ 1 indeed a nice catch... The car will be 23-24k...if you think anything less, then you need to join up with the scarecrow in asking the Wizard for a brain.

if it's more they're going to lose A LOT of sales.

sub 20k, they will have introduced a car everyone will be talking about; created an icon & singlehandledly revitalized the aftermarket import tuning industry.

22k, still considered a good value for the money & great base for creating a lightweight drives-like-it's-on-rails track car.

23k, the point where people will start to have trouble deciding if they want it, or something else that's close to it in price

25k, the point where people have to wonder if it's worth it when they can get a 412hp mustang gt for the same price.

Well put...I think over 25k and many will move on or wait to to let the hype die down and see what next years model has in store for them.
