I use it for squeaky door hinges too. Smells better than wd-40.

Reminds me of the time, back in the day, when I was a kid, I thought I'd do my grandma a favor and clean up her cast iron skillets.

So I lugged four of them out into my sandbox and commenced to scrubbing. After several hours, they were bright and shiny.

She was not pleased, but thanked me for my hard work -

Have you guys had the TSB done? mine never froze to the seal, but in the door,and I have never had them freeze after the TSB.

As long as something Silicone based instead of petroleum based is used it should be all good

My car doesn't have this issue, and it's been through a few winters, the newer switch designs post 2014 and better weather stripping definitely assuaged this issue.

Oh yeah. January 2014 was hell with the original parts. My windows would always freeze in the "dropped to open the door" position and get stuck there. It's a wonder I didn't fill the whole interior with snow during a storm.

I did right after buying my '13 a few years back. Didn't make much difference.. windows still freeze. Of course, we get some pretty severe weather... hard to believe anything would work ALL of the time here.
