Yep, same here. We had massive battles with BB guns, firecrackers, and smoke bombs. During the summer the woods in the neighborhood were a massive battleground.

My cousin did lose sight in one eye from a BB gun battle. Must be rough for him every year when A Christmas Story comes on.

We never had any serious injuries, although there were some close calls. I once shot my sister in the eye with a homemade bow and arrow that fortunately did no permanent damage, but did require a trip to the ED.
