Subaru's New 2.0-liter DOHC Boxer Twin-Scroll Turbocharged Engine

I was reading about Subaru's new 2.0L boxer for the Forester, with the twin-scroll turbo. Just wondering if this could be shoe-horned into the FT86 and mated with the stock transmission. Seems like a nice fit. Maybe slip in a differential from the IS-F and you might have something there.

You're a bit late to the party, that engine came out 2 years ago and at least one swap has been done:

It's probably cheaper to bolt on a turbo or supercharger to the stock engine, blow it up, rebuild it for boost and drive that until you're done with the car. Oh and you'll get more power out of it.

general > engine swaps

should be posted over there.

To comment though, if the subaru H6 fits, this will too.

ANYTHING will fit with enough money
