Hmm.
Glove compartment: * the subaru books that weigh a ton * reg and insurance * multitool (although right now it's in my home because I've been using it while building furniture and stuff at my new place) * digital tire pressure gauge (one of the best purchases that I've made) * InitialD First Stage CD album I bought in Japan last year Rest of car: * Costco pack of MF towels * quart of oil * a jacket/sweater * a water bottle or two * small folding camp chair I have some other random stuff from moving that I haven't cleared out yet. Plus straw wrappers are everywhere because every time I get boba or some other drink, I open the straw in the car, so the wrapper goes in a cup holder or something, only to get blown around the car because of the windows being open.

I carry a little brush in front of my shifter so I can dust off all the nooks and crannies while I'm waiting at the lights lol

In addition to what the OP originally stated:
One Litre bottle of mouthwash, under driver's seat (next to the bottle of window cleaner) Long white towel to put on dash whilst parked on very hot days. New blue tarp in original plastic bag (in case of tire changing in the wet or dirt) Proper sized piece of wood to put under car jack base in muddy or gravel conditions..spread the load (find something at home in advance and test it). Quality brand or old/used >Cross shaped lug nut wrench< longest available is best (I don't trust what is given by the manufacturer) kept in black plastic bag. harbor freight sells a foldable version that fits into one of the styrofoam cutouts by the spare tire. i've got one of those in my car as well. i've used it a couple times doing winter wheel changes, mostly to make sure that it'll take the force. it works just as good, and doesn't get in the way so much.

Water, flashlight, basic first aid kit, tire gauge, overnight bag w/ makeup and toiletries, spare mags and a box of defense ammo for my carry pistol.
Other posts here have me realizing a jacket would be a wise addition. Last edited by Kittykate; 04-13-2021 at 03:41 AM. |
