Looking to be on the dyno this week yo get a baseline of where we sit with the 300 in terms of performance.

I have very high hopes

Going to be on the same dynojet I was last year.
Thanks for the kind words fenton! There is still more in there

That's I thought maybe too but it didn't do it on the stock NA run(the dips)

Also as the runs progressed I could tell the car started pulling timing globally above 5000 rpm....there was a sharp dip and then 10hp less to redline. Once the timing was pulled it didn't have huge drastic dips anymore.

I can email you the dyno runs if that is of interest to you.

Coils/plugs are always less likely to cause misfire when running without boost. That is because the ignition output requirement is less when cylinder pressures are lower. So the more boost/power you make, the more stress on the ignition system.

80 to 120 kmt is also a very noteworthy comparison with regards to passing power.

If you head over to the owners' thread, there is some data on 0-60 and 1/4 times: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66862

As a heads up to all the new users out there. I'll be doing a new install video next week. I will be following the new instructions step by step and highlighting any thing that may be confusing.

I will also be highlighting the system as well for the first couple minutes. So if anyone has any dyno videos, comments or anything you may want me to add: private message me or email me at

I am curious. I was uploading the ESC tune files to my OFT when I thought of something. At stage 2, we have an EL or UEL tune. There doesn't seem to be an option for the ESC. I know shiv was tuning with the OFH in mind, but what about those running an EL header? do they run the same tune?

Same tune for everyone....stock header, uel and el.
@Shiv@Openflash has explained it before but I don't remember what he said

I'd like to see this as well, since I will most likely be buying his OFT / OFH combo package.... This friday or the next

Then saving my coin for the ESC.

Also how is the ESC E85 tune coming? I don't remember reading any updates recently

ESC/OFT/OFH/E85 tune has been done for awhile... I'm running it right now

Damn Definitely read over that then. Hows the car pull? You havent hit a dyno have you?

I will most likely run E85 if the gains are worth it. I have notice that bolt ons only go so far once the ESC is added to the equation, almost like diminishing returns. Nearest E85 station to me is in Berkely, so 30 min drive there 30 min drive back plus a bridge toll, and that is with no traffic.

Have you run the ESC without E85. If so hows it stack up to 91OCT?

Car pulls great. Haven't run it with 91 or 93, since there's a station with E85 right down the street from me.

Getting it on a dyno is definitely on my to do list, but I must admit that the taste of torque has just made me want more.

I don't know about 91 but I've switched back and forth between E85 and 93 a few times and I don't really feel that much of a difference. In fact I kinda prefer the 93 because E85 is so rare here and the price of gas is coming down.
