Has there been a direct comparison of JDL UEL vs Nameless EL Headers?

I have been searching here and other places with no direct comparison. If not, can someone post independent (not the ones from their respective websites) of stock vs header+tune for each header? I know plenty well enough that numbers are worthless unless on same day, car back to back, blah, blah. I want to see the torque curve vs stock on each.

I know the general consensus is Nameless is the best NA header, but I'm interested in seeing HOW much better.

I just had the Nameless EL header installed on my car a couple weeks ago and was very pleased with the results. I have a Perrin panel filter, Nameless header, and Perrin cat-back. I'm still using the OEM overpipe and frontpipe.

I created my own "hybrid" tune in RomRaider by researching different OTS tunes, taking advice and guidance from a local tuner, and spending lots of time collecting data logs and slowly experimenting with different aspects of the tune. I then paid for a few a dyno pulls to see how my setup compared to a stock BRZ in the shop's dyno database and here are the results:

Overall, I can't complain. I know a pro-tuner could get more out, but I'll worry about that when I upgrade from the stock overpipe and frontpipe. Mating the 3" header to the 2.25" overpipe was comical but there's no leaks and the gains are still decent. The only downside to this plot is that the stock baseline was not my car and run on a completely different day.

Hope this helps!

Hard to believe Nameless has the best header when it doesn't fit most of the time.

The JDL will win the mid range while the Nameless will on the top end. Better comparison is JDL EL vs Nameless EL.

I had read/heard that the Nameless overpipe/frontpipe combo had some fitment issues, but I didn't know that about their header. FWIW, the shop that installed my header had no issues at all. I've only had it on for 2 weeks, but I'm still exhaust-leak free and data logs look great (no knock, good fuel trims, etc).

Exactly. I can't say definitely since my car only has an MXP cat-back/OFT Stage 1 tune, but everyting I've ready (take that for the 2cents its worth) the UEL will make more midrange and the 4-1 EL will make slightly more top end.

I know the Nameless made better power overall, but I didn't realize the JDL made better midrange.

Im playing with some ideas but I really hate the sound the Nameless makes lol. I know it shouldn't matter but not a single STX car I've heard with the Nameless sounds good to me, might as well have been a B16 with an Ebay header.

strange I've always thought the jdl uel was the best so far. as all the highest powered n/a cars that had dynos posted here had the jdl uel. until the PTuning header came at least.

Yeah, what PTuning posted about 200whp on pump gas makes me interested, but I just don't understand it.

It seems everyone else is taking E85 to get to that level and their header looks very similar to the Nameless piece.
