i dipped my emblems and attempted to change my exhaust tips, i want it to look cool but not be any louder than stock however when taking off the old tips, one nut rounded off and one snapped off so I'm gonna have to get creative as to how I'm gonna take them off now

Reinstalled my lip after it had fallen off and got damaged. Had a friend refinish it and patch up the holes that the scrapping made. Now it is secured with nuts and bolts. I also plastidipped the lip prior to installing.

Had to use some self tapping screws in the very front couldn't get enough clearance to use the nuts and bolts. Also don't have a jack or jack stands so used the downhill slope of my driveway to get some extra clearance.

See when I decided to add the side skirts.

Started the engine and let it idle for 30 minutes. Lol. Haven't driven her in 8 days.

This morning I pushed forward on my rear seat delete fabrication...

Installed the rear support brackets I completed last night. Took mental notes for version 3 of my center channel template...

Everything is coming together nicely!

AFAIK, that is not good for the engine to start it and not drive it like that, probably worse than just not starting it and letting it sit.

I know idling engines aren't the best, but it's either that or risk the battery going flat again. I did drive it today to work tho. Lol

I thought the battery only gets recharged from the alternator when the car is actually in motion going down the street.

Again, just my understanding, but I could very well be wrong.

I don't believe driving has anything to do with it. The alternator is being spun by the belt so it should be charging the battery any time the engine is running

I'm pretty sure the alternator is always charging the battery when the engine is on, since its being driven by an accessory belt attached to the crankshaft it would seem to make sense but I've never actually looked into that

Nope, as long as the engine is on, it'll charge the battery. It'll charge quicker if driving.

I only said it wasn't good to idle since it take waaaaaay longer to warm up to operating temp.
