Spark Plugs at 65K
This is what my Plugs looked like at 65k. I'm no expert but I wouldn't recommend running them until 100k like most Subaru engines specify.

Damn. Are you burning oil at all or using anything but 93? I'm at 91k, been using E85 for a while, not sure if it helps keep them clean or the extra fuel needed makes em dirty.

It might burn 1/2 a quart every 5k. I use ethanol free gas to keep the crickets at bay... The highest octane I can find in my area is 92. Bought mine used with 59k, I have no idea what previous owner did.

Unless your electrodes and/or insulator are seriously burned away, or the plug is fouled with goop, I woudn't sweat anything. Honestly, in my 40 years of reading and changing plugs in all manner of engine, including aircraft, it seems like most people tend to make too much out of it. Just a middle-aged fart's HO.
On the flip side, you already took the time to remove them, fuck it. Plugs are cheap. ...except aircraft. Whole different ballgame. Those see a sandblaster as needed.

ah yes, The SANDBLASTER! Soooo many reconditioned plugs!
changed out SOOOO many of these when working as an A&P in the 80's n 90's {I hate O200s!} Champion REM37BY and then I started working on THESE! ! ! GE LM6000 Aeroderivative https://www.geaviation.com/marine/en.../lm6000-engine If I could only get one to shoehorn into my BRZ! I just know I could make it work somehow. Note the 6000 stands for +-60,000 HP Wonder what WHP I would get... Maybe if like a famous song I carried out a part a day in my lunchbox? I NEED A BIGGER LUNCHBOX! WITH WHEELS ON IT!
