2020 86 A/C R134 or R1234 ?

Title says it all did the BRZ 86 switch to the newer r1234 yet? I am thinking of upgrading from my 2012 July model the new air will be easier to fix and works way better at idle.

The most recent information I find online is from May 2019.

Appears Subaru models Made in USA are the Subarus with the newer refrigerant.

{Let's make Honeywell and Dupont, aka Chemours happy, as they make the stuff}

If you knew(or could get from another Subaru model) the proper orifice size, and oil type needed, I don't see why you couldn't.
