You have a brand new car under warranty that has obvious damage to a pretty important part of the powertrain. The dealer should fix it under warranty for that reason, and it's as simple as that.

I can't figure out how someone could manage to do that unless they were jumping on it, trying to He-Man the airbox assembly off without realizing there's a bolt holding that resonator piece down too, or hitting the thing with a mallet.

If you broke it while fooling around in the engine compartment and figure that the dealer will not want to replace it, then two part epoxy will do the job as there is plenty of surface to adhere to.
