Indeed it does! Very nice.

I have no plans to do so. I’ve changed tranny fluid in the past in a futile attempt to improve crappy shift feel but don’t think I’ll have that worry with this car.

Recently did driver weighted alignment with OE crash bolts in the upper holes up front maxed out and otherwise stock. Camber close to -1.00 deg up front (a tad more on passenger side, less on driver side) and about -1.5 out back. Zero toe all around. Getting out all that stock toe-in made the steering way more resonsive. Ordered some exhaust parts this morning - catted/resonated front pipe (almost did the combo pipe but am hopeful a proper long-tube header will be designed for the 2.4) and csg touring cat-back (unfortunately back-ordered). I'll order suspension once I get some base line times with the stock parts at my local track.

I'm with Doc - I swapped trans and diff fluid around 800 miles with Motul 300v 75w90 and it made a positive impact. For the money and easy DIY, it's a no brainer.

Yesterday I did all my LED's, amazing how a simple change made a big difference for me. I also installed the MTEC clutch spring. I definitely feel some slop but it's not bad at all and unfortunately it didn't really help me feel the bite point in the clutch. I'll keep using it for a while to see how it goes though, maybe it's just my shoes.

I also installed my rear view mirror dash cam, hardwired it to the fuse box but now no way to put the cover back on. Overall it was pretty easy install, easy to take off the panels but since I haven't driven yet, I hope I didn't leave anything loose!

^It seems like you just disconnected the seat occupied sensor. Won't that prevent the air bag from working?

What scenario would the driver's seat not have someone in it? The passenger seat sensor turns off the airbag, but I'm not aware of any vehicle that detects if the driver's seat has someone in it. Most just assume that if the car is on, there's someone in the driver's seat.

I don't believe the driver's side airbag can be turned on/off anywhere besides pulling the airbag system fuse to disable the entire system

I ran very briefly with no spring, and there was a lot of slop in the pedal at the top end, but it seemed to go away once I put the MTEC spring in. Maybe I'm just used to clutches that have some slop in them, because I don't think its that bad to use. Although the bite point is another subject....
Theres still a bit of slop right at the top with MTEC spring but really its only noticable compared to stock. After a week of driving I don't pay attention to it anymore

NOTE - This could be done without unbolting the seat frame as I did, but helped with picture clarity.

2nd Note - If you are a functioning adult with a drivers license, and don't understand how getting punched in the face with an airbag might be a bad thing, don't do this.

So - Here's a link to a thread how to do it without a dealer laptop
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148500

My option is a bit more mechanical.

Step 1 - GLARE MENACINGLY AT THE RED LIGHT AS IT BURNS A HOLE IN YOUR SOUL.

Step 2 - Raise the seat as much as possible with the handle

Step 3 - Unclip the Carpet hook at the front of the seat and see the connectors

Step 4 - Unplug the white 2 wire connector closest to the drivers door

Step 5 - Zip-tie or electrical tape the loose connector back onto the harness from whence it came. (because no rattles)

Step 6 - Re-clip the carpet hook

Step 7 - Enjoy the Silence and the satisfaction of retaining all other the warning beeps.

Just curious why not do the "buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 20 times in 30 seconds" instead of unplugging stuff?

Or just do the seatbelt thing, and it is off until you decide turn it back on.
