There we go, that's much more like it. The 1:12 posted above must not be Tsukuba 2000.

The KHS GR86 still needs a lot of work. The achieved time is within the range of what you could get in a lightweight Gen 1 car.

I don't underestimate gen1 but i don't think it can achieve the same time with same specs. What's the spec on that gen1?

Basically a lightweight car with carbon fiber parts (roof, doors, bonnet ). Engine is light tuned with 210-215hp, full exhaust, coilovers, wheels & tires. I am sure HKS will focus next on their supercharger just to promote this product ...

If this is the revolution car i know it is 992kg compared to 1170kg of hks gen2.That is a massive difference!!Stock to stock(or light moded) gen1 vs stock gen2 there was a big difference on track in another japanese video!

That's why HKS GR86 needs more work to remove additional weight

Give it a chance, I think that is pretty evident. The Revolution Gen 1 car has been developed to within an inch of its life over a longer period of time. The Gen 2 has been out all of 5 minutes.

The point of my posting was that these cars are not set up by the factory to post times. It will need work and changes in same way it happened to Gen 1 car.

NOB has a video of the HKS car on his Youtube where they are swapping the diff out. Its very likely a clutch style diff was swapped in.

Right! the lightly modded Gen2 is running is running around the track as fast as barely streetable Gen1. A similarly spec'd gen1 would be around 1.05-.06s. No one has even started tuning the engine yet..
