Some reviewers commented that the auto-close feature is still present.

Yea, so, first impressions review when? Curious to hear from more people who actually have owned a Gen I, especially a pre-2017 Gen I, about their reactions to the engine and interior changes.

He's already done 2 already, and he'll do another one tomorrow after he installs the MCS and wheels. One video is on FB, and the other on his twitch.

I emailed my guy and asked him to chase one down on Sept 20th.

It rolled off the assembly line Sept 27th.

On Oct 20th it was showing as "on the ship".

And now today, the update above

I'm curious if the fitment of the floor and trunk mats is the same as the first gen so we don't have to wait for new parts from WeatherTech, 3D, Lloyd, etc.

Damn wish my salesman was that enthusiastic. I don’t think he even knows what a BRZ actually is but oh well!

Unless I'm missing something- my old BRZ did not close the doors automatically.

I have a question about the things to tell the dealer not to do to my car. I was going to tell them not to drill holes for the front tag, or not to add any dealer stickers or decals. Why are some of you telling them not to detail it or wash the car?

Because they can't be trusted to use safe materials and not leave swirls and scratches. Many people prefer to do things by hand using only microfiber.

Also provide strict instructions for nobody to drive the car. Since it will be one of the first at the dealership you wouldn’t want anyone else to test drive it.
