Hey guys,

I am sorry to say I may not be able to come down this time, again. I am so bummed Weather is just being terrible, but even worse, I am having some MAJOR A/F ratio issues, causing stalling and rough idling. I just do not trust bringing my car all the way out there until I fix it.

I will have to think on it but for me it is looking like a no-go from my end. Will keep you posted though!

So bummed, wanted to use my GoPro's. Do you guys try to do the run atleast once a month or when are you planning on getting the next one together? If anything I will get a group of people together and go down there sometime! I really wanna get on those sisters

Sorry that you can't make it! I have been out around Boerne on many roads this afternoon - temps are now above freezing and all the roads I traveled were great.

I think all looks perfect for the run tomorrow!

Austin is thawed out (dash said 59F), drove to best buy and bought an extended battery pack for my gopro. The plan is to not run out of juice this time, both the gopro and the extended battery are plugged in and charging!

Just a tip with the extended bat. I bought 2 for my GoPros and one of them was messing up because the firmware did not properly install. Just make sure the update installs right and also, personally, I charge them individually and not together (each one plugged in, not just one wire charging both cam+bat)

Damn, I really wish I could make it.

Yup, Boerne has been great today. Much better than last night and early this morning.

Yeah. Driving was a beyotch today fer sure. I decided to drive the GMC to work instead of BRZ. Barely made it up the driveway as it was iced over in one spot (we are on a hill). Learned that cat litter is no substitute for sand or rock salt!! Took a lot of back roads today to avoid freeway mess on my route in the company xB. Saw a couple of gnarley smash-ups even on a couple of back streets that required some detouring around. Geez. Glad this winter ice doesn't happen but once in a while down here in So. Texas. Some people's driving skills suck in good weather - all hell breaks loose when there is a little ice on the roads. Things finally improved when it thawed out. Pretty cool when ice began falling off power lines and street lights.

We should be good to go in the AM as moisture has moved out. See ya'll in Medina tomorrow!!!!! Drive safe.

I'll leave the south Austin area @0700 tomorrow morning with one or more fellow Austin 86ers in tow. We should arrive in Medina around nine.
