Pro Tip: Don't include the buyer's name. Just put 'SOLD'. I'd be livid if you ever published my user name with a financial transaction. Honestly, I'd cancel the transaction. It is absolutely inappropriate to publicly advertise who has some amount of money they chose to spend on your parts.

I'm not sure what your issue is. The amount posted is the amount I originally listed the parts, not how much the users sent me. I do not remove the listed price so other users can have reference for prices.

as a forum 'pro', i've never heard or conceived of this tip. someone had to buy it, what difference does it make if the name is listed or not.. the whole point of posting a 'pm-ed' post is to indicate to others that a i'm interested in something, so if you're interested as well, get on it.

a few threads, i've posted that i was the one that it was sold to...

now, someone buy that sweet carbon fiber 3rd brake light before i make an irrational decision to support my point. i want to add weight to add lightness!

I've never had anyone complain about me keeping my prices listed or listing who bought what, and I've sold thousands of dollars worth of hobby related goods on forums.

Some sites (example: reddit hardware swap) require you to list the original price, sold price and the buyer's name.

As for the brake light, I hear it calling your name...
