There are pictures on the first page, I would rub on hard turns. I'm running 245s again since 255 is a little too much rubber for 200hp. You will be limited on front camber with stock struts with lowering springs since the tire is very close to touching the spring perch

Bought a set of 4 of 17x9 et38 with 245/40/17 tires
My local shop tells me with the stock shock they think it will rub, and wouldn't even mount them to the rims. Do y'all think they are being too cautious? Or do you think it would rub. After reading I've the thread it looks like most are running similar set ups! So I was unsure. Thanks in advance |

They fit!!
I found a shop that mounted them and I was prepared to get some spacers but they put one on the car for the hell of it to see how bad it would rub and they actually fit perfectly! Can't even fit a finger between the rim and shock but it doesn't rub at all. And I put it through the paces today sliding sideways and over bumps, with no rubbing. Very surprised but thankful! These are 17x9 et38 with 245/40/17 tires Last edited by Jeremiahlee34; 05-24-2016 at 11:05 AM. |

Hey all, Just got mine in.
Like an idiot I didn't order Lugs. I also have the weight at ~19.4. I had to hold the wheel with a pinky so i'm sure the weight was affected a touch. Thanks Last edited by PlaidCat; 03-11-2017 at 10:39 AM. Reason: adding photo |

Picking these same wheels up 17x9 +40. Can any of the owners care to share what size hub centric rings are needed?
