So I'm about to go FI and I'm trying to follow the discussion.

I've got the 3" Perrin catback exhaust and stock headers/overpipe/straight pipe.

So..with FI, I may want to keep the stock headers and go with an aftermarket overpipe/stright pipe..?

I'm not overly fond of working on the factory header since I generally like to keep all the oem stuff untouched and what not.

It is as simple as installing a smaller pulley to create more boost? Maybe I should have been more clear. Science is fact. The smaller the pulley the faster the charger spins = more air being compressed = more boost.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Lol.
To an extent. You gotta know the max blower rpm before needing to be ported, and even then there's max speeds for the blower past that.
