GT5 Stock GT86 Competition - Weekly Racing League Poll

OK PS3 GT5 racers, is anyone interested in doing a casual weekly GT86 racing league? This was initially suggested by RunFree_ZN6 in the April monthly tracks poll. We will only race the stock GT86 (same rules as the monthly competitions).

I'm figuring 9:00 PM EST start time and we'd race for ~2 hours. People could come and go as they please, and anyone on the west coast could join late (since that might be a bit early in that timezone).

Please choose all the nights you can race in the poll. If there are any nights you prefer, feel free to elaborate in the thread.

BT voice communications isn't required, but it's definitely a plus (any cheap BT headset should work, AFAIK). It's just for fun, so I wasn't planning on tracking results.

I can't do Thu (poker night).

Sun, Mon, Tue, and Wed are probably better for me than Fri and Sat.

This is a completely different animal than just doing practice time attacks. I've raced a few times with friends and we always die laughing

Place has become GT5club.com. At least the mods were able to finally move these to off-topic like I mentioned might be a good idea several weeks past. Probably should just create a sub forum for GT5 if it is that popular on here.

Last month's two threads (competition and poll) were simply updated to mention this month's competition (for subscribers). They would've fallen off the first page by the end of the day anyway.

That leaves two active threads: this month's competition and the weekly league racing poll. If no one expresses interest in the weekly league, that'll just disappear too.

As I wrote before, this is about a GT86 simulator, so I disagree with the notion that it belongs with topics completely unrelated to the GT86 (currently things like Atheism, Magic Johnson, and Gundam). Again, I agree general isn't really the right place, but that it's better than off-topic. It'd belong in a racing subforum, if one existed.

I don't ever go into off-topic, so I never would've found out about this GT86 competition there.
