Curious how this would be handled in my car. My FRS has a new engine, total replacement with now just over 4,000 miles on it. I am not sure toyota would honor anything but I will give them a call to see. Subaru as well.

Just not sure what I need to tell them. I'll go ask in that thread.

It isn't a recall just a service bulletin telling the techs about the know issue and how to correct it. It would have been free during the warranty period but not once that is over.
