I'd rather have opti guard under clear bra O.o
i'd want the clear bra for rock chips and parking lot idiots.
opti it on top and it'd get through (edit: by through as in break through the opti and then hit the clear bra)
but i do agree with a good prof. detailer

Keep it in your garage as long as you can, and NEVER drive it. Ever!

If it were me, I'd just drive it and get so much use out of it without worrying too much about keeping it in new condition (that may seem impossible, haha)... The last person who I'd want to be like is one of my cousins who has a ZR1, yet only racks up about 1k miles per year on it...

I never got opti coat and I've driven on dirt roads and I haven't washed it for over 1000 miles; don't do what I do.

Opti-guard over 3M if those are your options. Opti guard is not permanent. About 2 years later the car will be re-detailed and another application of opti-coat on top of the 3M.
