Huge bumper scrape!

I was driving and miscalculated the curb and I ended up driving up the curb!

I really really scraped the buttom/front really bad. What can i do to fix this???? Or do I just need to replace the whole thing? I mean, it's not THAT bad, but the fact i know its there bothers me.

Thinking about getting a five axis body kit now just to get rid of it. LOL!

If you can't really see it, it mostlikely better not to get it fixed. Chances are the repairs will look worse in the areas you can see, becasue they will have to blend the paint to these areas.

Cheers
GREG

I feel like if judging curbs isn't a strong point for you, getting a front lip will only piss you off even more.

A good body shop should be able to do a spot repair, but it won't be cheap.

I know how you feel man. I did it twice and it drives me crazy every time even though you can't see it. I'll probably get it replaced eventually.

If you have a bumper medic or bumper doc in your area, this is basically what they do.

I did that to a parking stop at Wawa. I went over the concrete stop and heard the scrape... I immediately went in reverse and pulled off the parking stop only to find out it ripped the bottom of my bumper . So I purchased some sand paper and fiberglass jb weld and did a stitch repair. No one can see the damage but I know it's there sooooo I bought a carbon fiber front lip and now I feel better and oh yeah I park about 3 feet away from curbs and parking stops >_<

that sucks, last week I started the car in my driveway, went in the house to grab something, when I came out my car had rolled into two other cars in my driveway, causing a dent in my door, and a scratch in the bumper, apparentlyI put the emergency brake down Then today a huge chunk of a truck tire was in the highway, giving me a tire tread pattern from bottom part of bumber to the middle of the hood and a nice dent as well. Gotta love rt 287...

How bad is the scrape as seen from the front? If it's not noticeable, I say just leave it be - nobody sees the bottom.

Also, maybe get a cheap lip to cover up any scrapes, and to protect from future ones.
