Yep, these are summer-only tires.

Tested out my Primacy tires in the cold rain yesterday (40F) and as expected, they are really bad in the cold. I could coax the car into a drift with only a little bit of gas. I get my winter wheels put on next week. Hope, I haven't waited too long.

I don't really mind the Primacy HP's. They offer a pretty good feeling for the road. But, according to Michelin, these tires are designed to be used in temperatures above 45 farenheit. Below that, they are less than "optimal". I think "less than optimal" is a euphemism for "they turn into rocks at low temperature."

These tires are the worst I've ever driven on. Wet, cold, dry, warm, doesn't matter. They're abominable!

I haven't had any issues in the wet, cold, or dry...and my car put down 162 ft lbs to the wheels on the dyno?

I was on the track a couple of weeks ago. They were utterly wretched in the wet. It was like driving on greased ball bearings. I've got dozens of track days under my belt and a hand-ful of races and this was the first time I've ever spun at a school. They were usable in the dry, but they never showed any actual grip.

OEM tires should be used as drift spares and that's about it...
