Thanks, the reason for the black base was for the darkness. Wasn't to sure about it being real light colored.

I originally painted them hyper silver. I liked it just OK... better than the stock but I wanted something that would stand out a little more.[IMG][/IMG]

god for the life of me I can't decide if I like that or not..problem with the Asphalt is the color is so dependent on the lighting. I had myself convinced gold would look good, now I'm not so sure.. hmmmm. Wish i could see the gold in natural lighting.

Your work looks top notch! I must admit, I actually like the hyper silver better on Asphalt than the gold. Thanks for sharing these!

You should do like a gun metal color, would probably look pretty cool. Or like hyper black

What is the pnt code for the BBS gold? Optionally Dupont or PPG's codes will work.

Powder coated stock wheels - Bronze - pics!

After almost a year of hating the stock two-tone wheels, I sandblasted and powder coated them bronze. I used 60 grit aluminum oxide for blasting, then coated them with "Yankee Gold" powder from Prismatic Powders. I am extremely satisfied with the result! What is your opinion, I won't be offended. Also, while the car was immobile I painted the tail lights with Night Shades Red transparent rattle can. They came out very clean and glossy with no need to buff or polish!
