Had a fun Saturday last weekend:

dem welds doe

Not pictured, but an important note: f*ck getting the stock OP out.

grumpy cat

First thought on initial start up: whoa, I forgot there was a Subaru engine in this car. Now I know every time I hit the start button.

I think I have a small exhaust leak where the front pipe connects to the midpipe (there was quite a bit of gap when mating the FP to the TRD midpipe) as there's some rasp at ~3k-4k, so I fix that by just staying WOT and above 4K for now . It sounds great otherwise and the OpenFlash tune seems to be working well - LTFT are about 3-4% and STFT are close to 0'd out.

Key to getting the stock OP or any OP out:

1. Transmission jack or vertical floor jack that raises up high enough.
2. Loosen passenger side engine mount
3. Lift block a few inches on that side (don't lift on the transmission itself)
4. Profit

Did that and still had issues getting the OP off with its heat shield

I think for once, a lot of 86s are gonna be meeting up at the HEB on 620 before this Sunday's C&C.
