For anyone looking at quiet 3" exhaust options for this swap, you might consider the Xforce ES-T86-02-CBS. Silly name but the kit is just slightly louder than the stock catback with Kpower header and reducer. Cost is just under $600. Fitment wasn't perfect on the passenger side tip, but I'll tweak it square at some point. It's not obnoxious at all, and doesn't sound like a noisy Honda. It also has a flex pipe included so no need to modify that. Full 3" until the two pipes exiting the muffler which are both 2".

Well, damn. I ended up buying a Perrin 3" for $800 since I couldn't find anything else.
My kit finally shipped today, I ordered 2/7.

I was about to order the Nameless midpipe and cobble together my own axleback but stumbled on the Xforce earlier this week by chance. It's not marketed as well as others so didn't pop up in any of my original searches. Here's some audio I took: Stock catback: With Xforce: Last edited by captain awesome; 05-07-2022 at 10:25 AM. |

Has anyone besides Trip been tracking their kswapped 86 regularly?
Header broke AGAIN today. This one had less than a dozen 20 minute sessions on it. Any alternatives to the kpower one? We do have limited fabrication and welding abilities, but rather have a bulletproof, drop in solution. |

Mine cracked and I had rewelded and added a flex pipe(hence the exhaust redo I posted above) KPower says a flex pipe should prevent the issue.
