I just got mine installed and have a noticeably more aggressive sound from 3500 RPM’s and up, plus some classic cold air intake whoosh sounds on throttle tip in at idle.

Don’t expect this really makes much power (if any), but definitely adds a little fun factor for me.

Did you just do the tube, or the full tube/filter/coal removal?

Is that reversible on these cars? Or is the charcoal filter pinned in place?

It’s permanently fixed by a plastic weld or an epoxy, can’t remember exactly what but it’s not going back in. Surprisingly restrictive, won’t miss it a bit.

I'm skeptical when a company says "improves performance," but can't produce objective data to show that improved performance.

It does look cool, but not $1200 cool.

For intake sound you need to modify the intake snorkel behind front bumper, at leats in the 1º gen.

Got the post-MAF hose and a K&N filter installed (birthday present from my better half!) and I like it. I do think there is a little more front end noise under load. I don't think its a placebo, but even if it is, I'm happy with it. Worth it in my view. Left the charcoal filter in for now.

I really wanted to go with the red version, but I thought it might look a bit garish in the engine bay with everything else being black.
