I didnt even use it. I made a new one out of some sheet metal i had. Bent, drilled, threaded and painted. Basically i made something that looks like a stretched "z", this allowed me to use the factory hole and the perrin hole. They are about 1.5-2 inches apart. Ididnt like bending and stretching anything, and basically installed it to the avo inlet pipe, and then measured and created a bracket so it held securely, but not put any stress on the avo part. Sorry, no pics. Next time i am in there working on it, if visible i will take a pic. Nothing special really. |

@gdrider looks great keep up the good work. if you feel like hiding the vent lines there is room under the intake for them to hide. that one way we kept the low key look

He means the vent lines going to the catch can to rout them behind the intake manifold instead of going on top of it.

Thats what i thought, i considered running them underneath as well. Might lookinto that next time im under there....Might need to get a bit longer line for one of them.

I am (kind of) If you look in the engine pics, i have both the @GrimmSpeed EBCS and MBC. The EBCS does not work, so using the mbc for now. My tuner as well as another tuner has tried unsuccessfully to get it working. Others on this forum and other places have had no good luck with the EBCS as well from what i have read.
This does not seem to be isolated to just the @GrimmSpeed EBCS but pretty much all of the EBC units. Most likely will be pulling it out and sticking with the manual. REally dissapointing, as we wanted to get the EBCS working properly, but i just spent about 10 hrs on monday working with my tuner, in his shop, and no luck. He even called ecutek, as well as another popular tuner on this forum (not going to mention name) and no luck. |
