Anyone know of any manufacturers with unequal length headers in the works?
I'm sure there's plenty of people keen to get that boxer rumble going ![]() |

I have not seen anything on any yet but I bet there will be, I believe they make less power compared to equal length though (maybe someone can correct me if i am wrong)
In the mean time... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIE1WdeNUeA&feature=my_liked_videos&list=L LhHbyFSBeUurI7JJ3rUwPRQ"]Accelerated Peformance 2013 BRZ "street" catback - YouTube[/ame] that exhaust sounds pretty close to the Subaru rumble and is just a cat back |

Interesting, I thought the Manifold was equal to help make the power that it already has.
yes but only by like a 30percent variance not too much Ah, that makes more since if they are just slightly unequal, the wrx/sti ones are way off to make room for the turbo stuff from what I have heard. |

Take a look at the agency power header pics. I can't say for certain as I haven't held one in my hand, but in the pics they look like they are unequal length.

and yeah the stock one is 30% different. That seems like a lot to me? I also know the stock STI/WRX headers have more 90degree bends, and the BRZ ones are more 180 degree type bends, so maybe that's the difference in sound???

+1 would love to see some UEL headers for this car. I know this might kill some of the top end gains compared to a proper EL header, however if someone can make one that doesn't sacrifice too much it might be worth it. Sounds intoxicating IMO
