Upgraded Port Injectors
Installed ID850's but haven't changed the tune yet (car only just got put back together).
Starts first time but not once warmed which I assume is due to overfueling/cranking stuff. What is the easiest/quickest way to temp fix that until I can get the car to the tuners (who isn't available right now)? Basically just need to be able to start car and move it around the factory if needed without having to wait for it to be dead cold which is a pain in the arse. |

your going to need to adjust that to compensate for larger injectors never done it maybe try @ztan suppose if injectors were 30% more flow rate adjust parameter 30% look at an oft e85 vs petrol tune that parameter is adjusted to make stock intectors inject 30% more fuel so you want to go oposite way be carefull if you inject heaps of fuel it may cause damage |

Yeah was thinking the same with scaling though bit more than a 30% difference with 850's.
Other idea I had was 100% the PI ![]() |

Port injectors are used for some fueling and will also be used if you exceed some of the max DI thresholds. To get the car to start up then you will need the port injector scalar and probably the injector minimum open time. Once fine tuned the latency will need to be done as well as changing any cranking values.
All this info should be available from the manufacturers.

Have a look at the ROM I sent you and compare to stock. Adjust Injector scaling BRZ - my ROM is DW450 450cc/min; I'm not sure which ROM def you are using but you can basically either halve or double (or 1.89x) my injector value depending on which way your ROM def is working to get you close enough to start dialling in. You'll have to find your latency value off the ID info. You'll also need to reduce the cranking pulse width values by similar amounts. I think my car only uses cranking table B - but I've changed them all. |

Yeah your map confuses me sometimes with the custom def's and different scaling compared to BRZedit which I'm using at the moment.
Noticed ID have a spreadsheet for COBB subaru tuning (http://injectordynamics.com/injectors/id850/), need to have a look at that later and see if it helps as well. |

Got nowhere, I suck hehe! Bloody injectors.
Car is collecting dust until tuner is available, whenever that might be. |
