GR with Xida on Touring Springs (250/250). This is about 140mm ride height. Most cars will be able to get down to about 130mm on Touring and 120-125 on 500/500 or 600/600 Race.

Wheels are 17x9 +48 Gen 4 6UL. We stopped making these wheels in 2017 and they are sold out. Working on Gen 5 wheels for early next year.

949: That looks great. A couple of questions. What is your measurement of the OEM ride height? How does the ride quality compare to OEM and B6 (OEM springs)?

Thanks.

Pinch weld height, OEM jacking points with 25" tall tire. I'd also point out that how low you run the car is not limited by Xidas. They are designed specifically for the car, fronts have adjustable strut flanges. You 'll be able to use every last mm of space before the tire starting hitting the tub. The lighter the car and stiffer the spring, the lower you can run. We often get questions about that from folks coming from China/Taiwan made 2 piece coilovers with limited travel. That's simply not an issue with 1 piece shocks that are the correct length.

Touring springs (250/250) absorb everything far better than OEM. All harshness gone. The overall ride is a tad firmer due to the slightly higher spring rates. Big difference between Xidas and Bilsteins is the response to small pavement imperfections. The Bilsteins don't move much until a bigger bump is hit. So the car often quivers and jiggles over most pavement. That's gone with Xidas. The B6 work well on bumps that aren't sharp edged but will still run out of damping when the car is pushed hard. So they have a relatively narrow window where they work well.

Even with 500/500 Race rates, the ride is never harsh. That ride quality and versatility is really what Xidas are all about and why they are the gold standard in the Miata world.

Total weight, weight distribution and motion ratio differences. They're different cars.

I thought older ones got lower rear MR, that’s why I expected higher rear or even rates.

How much total travel front and rear?

Damn I’ve missed the FAQ

Sorry

GT86
250 front/200 rear
500/500

GR86

Those are our recommended spring packs. As with any of the Xidas we offer for other platforms, you can opt for other rates. Call or email us and we'll go into more detail for any given project to customize if needed.

Thanks for your continued support with this platform.

I will be installing a set of your camber plates on my Feal 441+'s this weekend.

I'm eyeing a set of these for when I go to Street Touring Whatever as soon as the new car is competitive in a class.

Those that I've talked to in STR, have been much happier with a stiffer rear spring (50 - 100 lbs more) at autox.
