I would suggest for members to maybe setup caravan/going threads in their respective regions. Definitely would be easier to track down folks locally who want to join!

@HunterGreene Funny thing is I was planning way back to go to autoX but its on the 29th haha. I still might go to that though (if I can get up for it lol). I raced bikes so I should be comfortable at a fast pace. The cars handling is very communicative as well. Not going to push out of my limits though. I'll be very observant of the other drivers skills and technique.

Unless we get a ton of members register for car show, I don't see any issue as of right now

Sorry, I didn't follow last years event much at all. Forgive me, but can you please reiterate on how the event works, including the car show.

Event works like this... well more like I "wish" to work out

Saturday - Autox
I don't think, I need to explain much.

Sunday - Meet & Greet, car show & raffle prize
Meet & Greet - Literally you meet FRS/BRZ owners & see all the cool stuff they did to heir car
Car Show - Last yr, due to the space, we had a limited space for car show cars, so all the members who wanted to compete in car show had to register w mods & only handful was selected... This yr, I'm hoping that won't happen. At the event they'll park in car show area & get voted by selected members.
Raffle - well raffle lol if you're there, you'll win cool stuff!
Cruise - currently we're debating on this. Hopefully we can do it... but we will see

There is no pre-reg for autox or anything other than the "car show"

Autox, we're still waiting on the ODR SCCA to send us the contract. After that registration will start.

Car show, official registration will start in July

On the FB event page, Mac White was asking which vendors we would like to approach to be at the show portion on Sunday. Obviously, Ptuning has an open invite

Not sure if this thread is the place to do it, but what other suggestions would you guys have?

I also made the suggestion that it would be awesome if some of the vendors that do come offer some sort of "modification workshop" where they could demonstrate, either on their own cars or owners' cars, the installation of modifications that don't actually require a garage. Its great publicity for the vendors, and may give some of us who are nervous to modify the extra push we need to get the mod bug.

I'm sure a lot of other owners (and not vendors) would be interested in helping as well. Not sure how in depth you'd want to go but that's an interesting concept!
