I was thinking about getting the vent pod and the adapter too since my gauge is a 52mm

Toyota/Subaru list different part numbers for the left and right side vents.

Best to order it over the site for the easiest and quickest method. Unfortunately we do not offer any additional discount

Yeah I think that should be a great setup for you!

Thank you for this. I would imagine the ring that the ATI piece replaces would be the same Left to Right, but it is possible they are different. I will try to dig into this some more.

Thanks,
Rick

I did the vent install with a Greddy Multi D/A gauge. It's 62mm so I don't think it would work with this adapter. As long as you are okay with cutting a small hole in the fuse box cover for the wires there are fuses you can use for all of the wires as well. You can use the add-a-circuit things.

Very clean! Not just the DIY but the car is coming along nicely.

FYI - you've got a double-post of the same pic in the wiring section where it says to remove a screw behind the panel. Meaning, same pic for pointing out two screws.

Any info on a 52mm-only pod at some point?

My only concern is that although I don't use AC often, I want as much of a blast as I can get when I do use it. The adapter fills the space, but doesn't give any more venting. Plus, I'd rather buy one part than two.

I don't know that I'd use the left vent for a gauge...I use A/C (and heat) often AND I notice that the left side is the only one I can really aim where I want. The vents above the center stack are kinda useless in aiming where I want them to go. Sacrifices must be made for boost though.

Good point. Really not sure which way I want to go, but the gauge pod options for this car are really slim so far. People are trying, but nothing really gets up and screams "this is the one!"

It looks as if only the front silver trim ring is universal, but the housing and inside section come as a unique pair:

I really like the Greddy Multi D/A gauge and was thinking you may be able to modify the ATI ring to accept the 62mm gauge, it may not look as clean as I would imagine you would overlap onto the vent opening around the gauge. It should work, but may not look as clean.

Got the picture fixed, good catch

They did not have any immediate plans to go with the 52mm specific gauge, but you could always use their 60mm to 52mm adapters in a pinch. Hopefully one will come out soon for the 52mm guys, and will allow for more venting around the gauge.

Yeah, I think as more and more people modify this car, we will see more options for mounting. I really like this pod and am very pleased with it all around, but it would be nice to see more options on the market, which I can't imagine we will have to wait very long.

I was really excited when I saw this pod and I knew that we were finally starting to get some good aftermarket solutions for gauge mounting. I expect to see more and more innovative solutions coming out shortly.

Wow, great information! I would have assumed they were the same, but you know what happens when you assume!

Thanks for everyone's input, I love when threads start going in this direction. Helpful, constructive, thought provoking and it gives manufacturers an idea of what the customers want. Big thumbs up to everyone!

Thanks,
Rick

Very cool product. Makes me wish I wasn't running a 2 5/8" (66.7mm) gauge.

Wow, that is a big gauge for sure! I don't think anyone will come out with a pod in this location specific for a 66mm pod, but you should be able to modify one to fit as this ATi pod has an outer diameter of 90mm. Hope this helps

Thanks,
Rick

I'm really liking the adapter, and a big thanks for the DIY. It saved me tons of time. I really like that it lets me have a gauge while keeping close to an OEM look.
