20 - 14.7 ~~ 5.5 psi.

You'll notice your 5.5 psi occurs quite a bit before redline, and as you know, your boost continues to climb as you rev higher. The boost is there; you just don't have the equipment to read it.

If you go somewhere where ambient pressure is lower, you will see a higher boost reading.

*dont* change your MAP sensor; you'll need a custom tune if you do so.

Search. There is no stock oil pressure sensor. And if you haven't found a plugin on the play store, then there isn't one... at least not yet.

I got a new phone, the default oil temp didn't work for me either and after putting in the custom PID it didn't work.
I uninstalled/installed it and put in the custom PID first thing and it worked.
Not sure what's up with that.

OFFICIAL Torque Android app PID/Misc Thread

Where is your engine load at idle? Is 23% in the safe zone? It easily climbs to 80 percent on first gear while revving up slowly. Could this be the cause of my turbo, or a poor actuator spring?

Has anyone measured the stick oil sensor to see if it really is only a switch or if it could give a viable reading?

Not that I know of. But many people have said that it is just a switch for the low oil light.

I think that kind of makes sense. The stock NA engine sucks ~12 PSI of vacuum at idle, and my Rotrex supercharger offsets that by +~3 PSI at idle. My peak reading at around 25 PSI is when the engine no longer has a vacuum and the blower (without the smaller pulley) is pushing about 9 PSI. Someone else can call BS on me but I think that is what's happening. Thanks!

Further to my issue with no oil temp..

The day after my previous post.. The next day on my way to a track day at the Mosport GP track, 1st time for me.. Well I pull out of Tim Horton's and all of sudden CEL, ABS, and one other light on the dash comes on...

WTF... Pulled off onto a side street, turned it off.. back on and CEL is still there the other lights were gone.. I realized I had left the OBD2 thingy hooked up since the night before so I immediately removed it. Went to get gas.. Next restart CEL is still there.. so now I am worried. Decide to take it to the track (I am only 15 mins away) expecting at least someone there will have a reader or something, I wasn't going to trust the one I had. I get to Taunton & 57 and turn the car off and back on.. and CEL is gone!!

wparsons of this board was at the track with an OFT, we checked the car.. no codes..

So.. I am pointing a finger at the elcheapo OBD2 ELM thingy for my issues. I spent 2 days on the GP track, that was a week ago, and the CEL hasn't come on since.

I would suggest the OBDLink LX one for a couple of reasons. Better quality, faster refresh rates and you can leave it plugged in without draining your battery.
