bad window seal at high speed?

So for some reason it sounds like my window is slightly cracked(letting air in) when i'm hitting high speeds (100+ mph), when i slow down, the wind noise go away. its been a problem for a while now, has anyone else experienced this? Maybe a bad seal?

.......and what track are you going a 100 mph on .......

Maybe plug up the sound maker tube ....... it may be over pressurizing the cabin .....

And here all along, I thought that sound I was hearing outside was jets landing at Seatac .......

I had that problem in my 15 BRZ too. I just dealt with it. I can’t really say that I have the same problem with my 17 though..

The doors seem to be pulled out and leak around the seals. I just thought it was an aero thing at speed. On track windows are usually down.

Welcome to the world of frame-less windows. The faster you go the greater the pressure difference between the inside and out side of the car. Since there is no frame to hold it the differential will pull the glass out a bit. It only takes a very, very small gap to make a pile of noise. There is no fix since there is nothing wrong. This is not unique to this car and has happened with every coupe I have ever owned. The only answer is to slow down.

Lube up your weatherstrippings. Hydrated seals help the tiniest bit to keeping seals happy.

I have used Sil-Glyde and Gummi Pflege

Check that the weatherstripping isn't rolling over when the window rolls up. Mine does this.

FWIW I have this problem too. Sometimes it helps to roll the windows down slightly and then roll them all the way up. It seems like the windows slip down slightly due to pressure differential at high speed.

only at 100 mph? Mine sometimes makes noise at 45 MPH. Consider yourself lucky!
