That's the one I'm getting for the wife. Also because it's an IIHS top safety pick, and they finally killed the 2015+ evolved crickets.

Quite predictable. At least here in Scottsdale ... most areas in the TOYOTA dealership where they sold Scions looked like an after thought. If anything .... this is GOOD for the FR-S in the future.

Actually, the RS2s should be out by now, at least according to Moto.

Speaking of which, I wonder what his thoughts are regarding this topic?

My insurance card says it's a Toyota-Scion, nothing about FR-S. Now with Scion going away, what will it be called? Guess the Toyota FR-S is not so bad..

I didn't like them before but the newer ones are growing on me. Looks kinda like an aftermarket rear bumper now with the updated design.

I would not be surprised if they keep the name as the FR-S in order to maintain name recognition for this market. Cars are named different things in different markets all the time.

I'm interested in how they will handle the iA and the iM as that naming convention was unique to Scion and does not fit the the Toyota naming convention. Since the iM is a rebadged Auris from the European market (which is itself a Corolla), the smart thing to do would be to introduce it as a hatchback trim of the Corolla since the Toyota Corolla has more marketing visibility than the Scion iM.

And the iA will now occupy a weird spot between the Yaris and Corolla. I don't see both the iA and Yaris being viable as they would share the cheap car option. The iA is arguably a better option (thanks, Mazda) but it's more expensive and it's a Mazda.

Indeed. Unfortunately, swapping all badges was my first ricer mod so I've already had them on for two years. I even used acetone to remove the word "Scion" painted on the radio.

Neither will. Tons of supply and limited demand for both are not indicators of an increase in value.

Yea, I know. I was saying that Scion's future was looking brighter with the new additions. I think it could have been a viable brand if it wasn't starved of product so long.

I never liked it recently, but when it first came out it was a damn good car for the money.
