Do I need to let the SC cool down when I park before shutting the engine off after a mild drive? I’ve been letting it chill in neutral for 30-60 seconds. There was something about hot oil needing to be circulated out?

I believe you're confusing S/C shutdown with Turbo cooldown.
I had at turbo timer on the Talon I once owned. It kept the engine running for a pre-set time after the key was turned off. This kept the oil circulating through the hot turbo.
An Edelbrock doesn't have circulating oil but rather an oil bath, for lack of a better term.

Did you change the entire tensioner or just the pulley?

I finally got back from vacation, so I had some time to take a look. It looks like the serpentine belt was getting some funny wear on the side closest to the engine on the outside of the belt (where it goes over idler pulleys). It’s very subtle but it is there. It doesn’t look like any of my drive pulleys are misaligned, but the idler pulley between the A/C and the S/C has what looks like a bit of funny wear that the other idlers don’t have. It doesn’t look significant to me, but it is different from the other pulleys.

Now that the new serpentine belt is on, I’m going to let it run, and see if the problem appears again. I just can’t find anything obviously wrong.

It was the entire tensioner assembly.

Anyone have a link to the air filter for this setup? Been almost 25k miles probably time to change. I remember reading it’s a dry filter.

You should find one at Edelbrock.com.
The earlier kits used an oiled K&N filter however I understand they have since switched newer kits to a fool-proof dry type.

Can the dry type just be cleaned and re-used or have to be replaced?

Thank you for the edelbrock part number. Couldn't find it on edelbrock's website nor on the packing list of the instructions.

With that K&N part number i can't find anything though.

installed Works oil cooler kit with Edelbrock SC

Installed the Works sourced oil cooler kit.
So far I am pleased with the results. I know its not going to allow for un ending track abuse, but for what I do it seemed the most practical.
(spirited driving)

The hose length and connectors all worked out, though I required a bit of finesse and a zip tie to get the tubing in a safe position I felt would ensure they did not rub the belts or other metal parts.

Improvement in oil cooling fit the advertisement of 10-13 degrees.
During spirited driving I would see the oil temps around 250f and now I they stay around 230f and drop very quickly after resuming normal driving conditions.
Running AMS Signature Series 0W-20 Synthetic, so I believe this should be an acceptable temp or am I wrong?

I'm thinking of getting a similar bracket made. Do you have any design dimensions or files you can share?

Sorry about straying from the topic of your post.

The bracket is by Verus and I picked it up from FTSpeed.com.

Indeed there is, I always keep a paper towel in the engine bay for checking fluids and the sort. Perhaps I should replace it with a yellow napkin for an extra 5hp.
