Making the cut to get into Veal U must be very stressful. It probably takes years off their lives!

God I think posting that silly little meme was a missteak on my part. I don't have any beef with vegans and just thought it was funny. Now all this bull has resulted and people have a bone to pick. Think it is even too late to steer the conversation to greener pastures. So since I'm not chicken I am just going to milk it for all it is worth and not try to butter up the vegan turkeys. Gonna' take this thread and filet with memes that roast the vegans even if they do have a cow.

you know what else is brutal on animals? being eaten alive by a lion or a pack of wolves or basically any other animal for that matter.

I got lucky in that dept. Got a hamster when I was a kid. We dropped it off at the house so we could do to the grocery store. when we returned it had 6 babies. after a few weeks we took them to the pet store and he gave me store credit for some tubes for the hamster to run around in. but a few days after we took the babies back to the store my hamster started eating the plastic of it's house. it got sick and was moving around really slow so we took it to the pet store hoping they could help(I was like 6 I didn't know better). they couldn't and I watched it die right there in the store. boy was my soul crushed. the guy at the store tried giving me any hamster I wanted to make me feel better. I didn't want anything else but my hamster back.

that was a really bad day.

about 5-6 years later I got a ball python and fed it mice. talk about coming full circle.

Well, in the strictest terms, nothing sold today is free range, as in the buffalo roaming the west and doing whatever the heck they want until someone finds them and makes burgers out of them.

And don't even get me started on "organic".

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of max scale farming methods but some of this stuff is just to make people that have never had to produce their own food feel better about themselves when they go to the market for their "free range, happy right up until the time we killed it" meat and vegetables.

I call it "Hipster Bait". any advertising with organic, sustainable, locally sourced, craft-anything, and free range is bait for hipsters. I'm sure there's more but that's what I recalled off the top of my head.
