I'm running motegi traklites in 16in. right now. I believe they are around 12 lbs. but are around $350 per wheel, and can be hard to find.

I'll stick with these for a while, but when I have to go to a bigger size for a bbk, I will probably go forgestars

Enkei NT03+M? Similar weight to rpf1's just slightly heavier but better looking in the concave sizing. Also similarly priced.

I have an OZ Ultraleggera setup that I sometimes use:

Flat black, 18x8s square, 5x100, not sure about the offset.

25mm H&R spacers are used in the rear.

I thought about these in the future. Do you know if they will clear a bbk?

Also a 17x8 available in a good +35 offset and weigh 17.6 lbs.
I didn't know these were that light! Where did you get that figure from? These are the TC105N knock-offs, right? I wouldn't mind a set of these at all!

You will need a spacer for brembos but haven't checked the other smaller BBK's available.

Why not buy a nice used set of OZ Superleggeras (17x7 for me @ 15.3 lbs a wheel)? I purchased a used gold set for my WRB BRZ for $500 shipped off NASIOC.

I love mine. 16.2lb at 17X8.5. Around the $350 per range, but check w/ vendors to be sure (I went w/ modbargains.com and was totally happy with everything).

Plus, color and offset are up to you. Delivery may vary based on how busy they are, but I got mine in around 6 weeks from ordering over the holidays.

Not the cheapest, nor the lightest, but see if you can get someone else to make yours in the color and offset you pick. That sold it for me. Well, that and they are stock items on the Superlite SLC (www.http://superlitecars.com/superlite-coupe/). I will build one of their cars someday.
