Hood crease not present?

I've recently bought my first 86 and had it for almost 2 weeks. I've just noticed the hood crease that continues the bumper badge line is pretty much not present on mine, which i find really strange. I have checked the VIN before buying and the car has thankfully not been in any accident but it has had a few body panels repainted including the hood (rock chips, scratches - Romania's roads will do that to low cars). Could the repaint have caused the crease to vanish? I'm thinking also someone might have sat on the hood and it being alluminium they might have bent it and the body shop that took care of the restoration did a horrible job. OR maybe i just can't seem to be able to see the crease due to it being so subtle. Attached pics. Thoughts?

I'd take it! Then remove badge and fill that area smooth too. Badges cheapen the car and still can't figure why they've designed(mashed) it into the shape of the car.
I was hit from behind and pushed into a truck in front and had that whole section redone/repainted and should have taken the opportunity to do it then. Next time...

My guess is it's a BRZ hood? Mine doesn't have those creases, if memory serves.

It's not a BRZ hood and it does not look aftermarket either. The paint is chipped on the lower part of the hood and it looks (and feels, by the weight) like it's made of aluminium. I can't make out the reason for the crease missing.

AND it's not even the strangest cosmetic thing the car has, it supposedly also came (from the factory) with a mini-diffuser like thing on the rear bumper. Photos of which i can't find anywhere on the internet. Here's what it looks like on the car: https://ibb.co/QvNZmRG

The diffuser thing has the SAME texture and look as the lower part of the rear bumper, so it being stock kind of checks out. But what is it?

Yep,complety agree, I'm thinking it could be the prototype for the Series 2 that accidentally ended up on the production line. It's got the Series 2 hallmarks, bland, cheap details..

The rear diffuser, looks very homemade.
