I have higher rates (450/550) than Kate (300/500). I like the feel of mine but I suspect her car is a touch faster. My car is probably a bit of a compromise setup built to work around the parts I already had from CS.

My opinion is you can win a jacket without a diff, but a diff is a very helpful tool if you know how to use it.
Thanks for the advice. I got 3 days on track in the car this weekend and thankfully the chassis is familiar to me from driving some in an SSC-trim car occasionally last year and my car is working pretty well already minus the need for some better shocks so I think I'm going to just stick with holding off for now with only 4-5 autox weekends I can get to between now and September to test and not throw too many parts at it before then and maybe plan on dialing it in next year with more time.

Anybody doing Bristol?

Right now it is my co-driver and I and one other driver. We are thinking about jumping to something else if we don't get more people. Especially if we still don't have tires at that point.

Loved Bristol as a venue, but it's a long haul for us. We're staying home for the 4th weekend this year.

If I lived in Wisconsin, I wouldn't go there.

...though if anyone else lives in Wisconsin and is thinking about it, you should come.

Who is setting these nationals run days? We were Thurs/Fri in 2019 as well. Someday I'll actually get to leave Lincoln before Saturday morning.

Having never been to Lincoln... why do you want to leave before Saturday morning?

Makes for a super long week if you do the Pro Finale too

First time for me running Thursday/Friday. This basically eliminates my ability to run the Pro Finale this year.

For me...

1) If you do the finale and run Thurs/Fri, it is a 10 day trip.

2) It is nice to actually have a full weekend to relax/unpack/do laundry before you go back to work.

3) You can save a day of PTO if that is important.

4) I love football and want to be home watching it instead of traveling.

5) If you leave after you run on Friday, which a lot of people will do this year with no banquet, it is really tough/expensive to find a hotel room because of college football.

Looking at my first time going to nationals this year. Won't be able to make the pro finale either. Arriving Tues night and leaving Saturday is looking to be the plan right now.

Because my drive is 25 hours each way so if I leave Saturday morning I'm getting home late Sunday night. Combined with Pro Finale I am gone from Thursday the 2nd at 4am to Sunday the 13th at 11pm for what amounts to 12 ProSolo runs and 6 nationals runs over that time. I have been to nationals 4 times and have yet to be able to leave Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Got a speeding ticket in 2019 trying to make it somewhere in time to watch Washington play. Catching the football games is a major part of planning my trip.

Question on alignment. 8k for spring rate. -3.5 front, -2.5 rear. +.05 toe front. My car seems to push a bit on turn in. Is this a result of + toe, my 22mm sway. Too firm on my coil overs. Running on pavement. I had requested neutral toe, but the tech said this is recommended
