The BEST Performance Tires for your Car in 2021

Huge test by Tyre Reviews. Very methodical.

My favourite part:
"No tyre can be the best in every category" or in my words, everything's a compromise.

Of course, it will always be Michelin tires. I got mine a year ago from 4wheelonline for a reasonable price.

Falken FK510 on mine. Top 5 and they were only $105 a tire. I really miss my Conti Extreme DW's though.

Nah, often in his tests GY or Contis also come up first. I like how he often tests also on track and often values high handling feel, which makes it seem that his biases might stand closer how many of us use our cars

I'm presently running Conti ECSs and like them a lot better than the PSSs I ran before them. I picked up Michis newest winter tire for my other car, and they are ok, but they are no better than the out going Nokians were, and have worse/less steering precision. To be honest, I'm kinda over the internet forums love of Michelin. They're certainly good, but they aren't the all ruling best.

Imho problem from different results as to "which is best" in specific test and what own experience is, stems from simple fact of different cars and different tire sizings tested. I can easily imagine possibility on some car handling feeling better on some tires over others due car's itself chassis / suspension setup, and also imho more then possible, that at some sizes tires of "same model" can perform/feel a bit better then at other sizes, especially if they are closely matched by performance/feel, as often usually is, with several tires within specific tire class being tested & leaders often being very close.
As for winter tires .. i'm using studded tires .. and simple fact that hakkas easily loosing studs while xin4 - don't, makes me never to consider nokians again. What use to get theirs guiding by their grip new, if after 2-3 years i have only 40% studs left in them?
