Put my winter tires on, which are mounted on the OEM rims, and after driving for 8 months on 18" wheels (wheel same weight, tire obviously heavier), the difference is immediately apparent. Reduced grip, a more flighty feeling, but above all - light and vague steering, whereas with the 18" MPSS, the steering was positive and meaty. Still a fun car, but just that bit less focused now. Hopefully the lighter, less grippy wheelset will mean improved fuel consumption. Ride has improved as well.

Out wiht the old, and in with the new, got new tyres. Michelin Pilot Sport 4. Much better than OEM in the wet. PS4 in the wet feels like OEM in the dry.

Looks to be a steering wheel hub with a led bar, probably a tachometer.

The other gentlemen nailed it.

Shift light from chippernut with custom bracket and momentary switches in place of cruise control stalk. I like to pretend the nos comes on when I hit the red one.

Put on DBA T3 5000's and Ferodo DS2500 pads.

Also changed the oil and brake fluid.

She's already for Phillip Island sprint in a few weeks.

My bi-yearly wash and wax. Another thankless job like power washing your vinyl siding. Nothing special, wash, dry, Meguiar's Carnuba paste wax.

Mt 2+2 is now a 2+0. Rear seat delete + gutted the interior from the front seats back. No delete kit to replace it- just a raw delete.

This is not a beautification project. My wife said she hates it (win) and I told her, this is ugly and I don't care. Deleting the rear seat and all loses around 30lbs (according to others who have weighed the stuff removed in videos I have seen) and I got rid of the floor jack (34 lbs according to the company).

The spare has been moved forward to minimize it's moment of inertia. All the weight removed is from the ass end of the car & I wanted to move whatever weight I could to the middle for handling. I used the trunk cardboard floor under the spare to minimize noise and protect the fuel module thing in the trunk.

If anyone rides with me and says it's ugly, I'll tell them that if they sit in the seat right and face forward, they won't notice Plus that way they can hold the fuck on and I'll show them why I did it.
