2 way possible in BRZ?? - JBL MS-62C 2 way components

Hey all,

I have recently bought a Pioneer 8540BT DVD headunit to replace the stock rubbish 1990 spec Toyota stereo in my BRZ and i am now looking to upgrade the front components following a little sound deadening.

I am aware the front is a 3-way setup utilising a 6'' driver, 4'' mid and 1'' tweeter but from what i have seen a decent 3 way speaker setup will be at least $350 like the Hertz HSK or similar.

I have found some great reviews on JBL 6.5'' MS-62C 2 -way components and they are offered at a great price, what is everyone's thoughts on these and can i use them AND keep the 4'' mid OR should i just delete the 4'' mid and run with a 2-way setup (possibly mount tweeter onto the door so it doesn't reflect off the windshield)?

Also any recommendations for amps?
